~ 12.19.08 NaNoWriMo ~ The fun is over for another year. I didn't do so well this year -- about 13K words I think, but my excuse was that I got distracted by the election and didn't get started until a week into the month. On the other hand, I've got the beginnings of a new book to work with once the holidays are behind us. If you've ever thought of writing a novel (and who hasn't?) this might be the thing to get you out of the "someday I'll write a novel" way of thinking and into the fabulous creative state that is actually writing that book. Check out the National Novel Writing Month web site for more information about writing in general and NaNoWriMo specifically. bcda Can you read Russian?Charming the Shrew was released in Germany in December, 2007. Now it's been released in Russia! I have to take the translation and the proper spelling of my name on faith since I don't read a word of Russian. The Russian Cover

"Weaving passion, honor, intrigue and a touch of the paranormal...Ms Wittig has secured a place of honor on my 'must read' list." Escape to Romance Reviews bcda "In this exhilarating Highlands adventure Wittig knows how to merge passion, wild adventure, history and danger into a perfect tale that takes your breath away and tugs at the heart."
Romantic
Times bcda "Wittig truly captures the essence of the Scots -- their deep passion for freedom and justice, love of their homeland and fierce pride -- in her remarkable characters and their colorful, historically accurate, highly romantic love story. She's well on her way to becoming one of the genres finest story tellers."
